Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary: Founded by Frank Duff in Ireland, in 1921, modeled on the St. Vincent DePaul Society, (which is involved in TEMPORAL works), is the largest SPIRITUAL organization in the Catholic Church throughout the world. Its handbook is currently printed in 65 different languages; it exists in 171 countries, has been active in the St. Ann area since 1959. In Holy Trinity, Maria, Stella Maris Praesidium meets on TUESDAY EVENINGS in the lower meeting room of the rectory, after the Perpetual Help Devotions.

Our rules are simple: attendance at a weekly meeting; daily prayer, active assigned spiritual work, and keeping confidential matters discussed at the meeting or learned in connection with the Legionary work.

All of our work is to be performed in the spirit of Faith, and in union with Mary, so that the person of Our Lord is once again seen and served by Mary, His Mother.

The community of Holy Trinity is called, as disciples of Jesus, to be holy people. We are led by the Spirit of God the Father through liturgies, sacraments, service and commitment to spiritual growth.
